A non-surgical treatment is now available for women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
The Renessa treatment is usually performed in the comfort of your doctor’s office, and requires only a local anesthetic. Patients are typically comfortable during the treatment and recover rapidly, returning to normal activities the same or the next day. There are no incisions, bandages or catheters left behind. Patients typically see improvement within 60-90 days, although some patients see results sooner. The full effect may take up to 6 months.
Clinical studies have shown that 3 out of 4 women treated with Renessa significantly reduce or eliminate leaks and nearly 60% are able to discontinue pad use. Results are durable for at least 3 years and no serious complications have been reported in any clinical studies.
